Is there parking nearby?
There is up to one hour parking on the street (on the opposite side of the road) and on King’s Street nearby. This is great for dropping off and picking up. There is longer session parking at Exebridges Retail Park. The parking is free for 3 hours if you purchase something at one of their stores. Please give yourself 10-15mins to walk over. Or there is the usual parking in the centre of Exeter. Please note that evening parking is free on the streets, please check the signs.
Can we bring children?
Yes, we most definitely welcome children of all ages. Our art sessions are suitable for children over 7 years old, and we ask that there is adult supervision at all times.
We can adjust the activities or you are welcome to bring your own activities for under 7 year olds as well.
Can we just drop in for an art session
Yes for sure. We have art activity kits ready to go, so you can drop by and just doodle or colour in as you sit with your drink and snacks.
Will you give me guides for my art kit
The animal pottery painting from Anna Fitzgerald comes with instructions, and we help you along as well. You may just want to use the inspiration around you at the Art Cafe as it is colourful, or you may want to bring something inspiring with you. Some kits are just about you picking up and giving it a go. Ask us for our book of ideas.
