Job Summary
Our special cafe and community space is seeking a dynamic and experienced Barista and Cafe Team Leader to oversee daily operations With you in the team, we will be giving excellent service, serve the best for food and drink and make our customers and team welcome within our vibrant café environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up for the day, serving food and drinks including Barista service, Matcha and our special recipes as well as closing. You will also be leading on the shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, confident as a barista, prepare and serve food, and taking a lead with a dedicated team in delivering an outstanding experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a a small café or hospitality setting.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
• Experience in team management with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Knowledge of operations, including serving, food production, and kitchen procedures.
• Barista experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse small team and work with management.
• Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of service quality. Job Type: Full-time (20-24 hours a week after training)

Experience: We require at least 1 year experience as a Barista or cafe assistant, and ability to work independently after training.
